This is a normal post Just out of curiosity
Given the NSFW element is the thumbnail, there's little point in pointing out it's NSFW, given we've already been exposed, traumatised, and/or lost our jobs because our boss was behind us and is also traumatised. So there was no need to mark it as NSFW. Or have I drunk to much tea and have over applied reasoning, or lack there of, to this?

Anyway, looks like he got a right mauling

I just knew that at one point someone would point out that it was NSFW, and I don't know how to remove the thumbnail, so it was in anticipation.

Yeah, I suspect he was trying to photo those cubs, which is why mama got pissed off, but you never know with bears...

This is a normal post I've had a few scratches from big cats
though more by being careless with wayward claws than actual aggression. I would have almost thought it would be practically built into our DNA to give mothers and cubs a wide berth, especially when they are large and can tear you to shreds

I don't know how many times I've seen video of people getting out of their cars to film wild animals on safari, or American bison in the plains. Their attitude is almost "hey, I paid money to get here, I'm getting PICTURES!"

One of the vets I work with went to a veterinary conference in South Africa, and whilst she was there took the opportunity to go on a safari. The trail she went had had a fatality when one of the tourists rolled down her car window next to a pride of lions. One of the lionessess took literally siezed the moment and got hold of her arm. The tourist, miles from anywhere, died as a result of her injuries. Sad, but fuck me

I was massively concussed at the time I got my wound seen to, mind, so they could have been putting jelly on my arm, who knows, but I am sure they said HCL, and it smarted like fuck but i didnt care because i was totally out of it.
