This is a link post Maradona's World Cup.
Unfortunately Argentina are out, so have this one instead diego. Although I believe he has cleaned himself up these days and is a reformed character.

This is a normal post The man is a star.
The moment he got caught on the jumbotron, and he blew everyone a kiss.

And yes yes, he hand balled the goal, but people some times forget that in the same match he took it from his own goal line, took on every england player (including Lineker, twice) and scored. I dont normally like football, but I can understand why people like it with genius like that!

This is a normal post i have been loving him at this years world cup
one of its main stars, more entertaining than some of the football and many of the players. Agree re: hand of god goal. the 2nd goal, at the start he does his "maradona turn" and leaves 2 England players for dead. No one stops him. Gary Lineker once said that the pitch that day was appalling and cut up to fuck, and maradona was still able to play with his silky skills.

i hope he doesn't quit as Argentina manager. Its not entirely his fault, he has Ruggeri and Bilardo (who was manager in 1986!) on his coaching team.

This is a normal post I agree...
I hate to say it, but Germany are a different class. And again, I am no footy fan, but even I can see that. I actually have a bit more respect for the england team by getting 2 goals past them.
