nintendo had the best game music (and i was a sega man...)
the mario music is timeless and classic. i don't know any other game which had such instant musical yum yum as super mario! unreal had some pretty good music, chrono trigger also. but super mario is the shit man ;)
most games these days, i put some jungle on in winamp and turn off the ingame music. (how we've progressed...)
