So a parody we put together, critique welcome!

The humour was a bit shotgun. nothing for the first couple of minutes then slowly introducing a few "scary movie" style gags that were a little lame. The payoff at the end was predictible and even lamer, when it should have been the best gag and a big shock. It's a shame because you got the styling so right, it can't have been easy on limited budget.
I'd advise spending more time thinking and writing cohesive humour that extends across the whole piece. What about if ethan had actually been casually asked to get a coffee, but he treats it like a mission impossible, going to absurd lengths and killing a bunch of people? It carries the audience along with the absurdity. Showing someone playing gameboy instead of doing the mission is lame cheap laughs, there is no context or motivation to it other than the obvious absurdity. you need to build it up, and treat the drama of it with seriousness, the humour will benefit from it. As it was, some of the jokey sub-tarantino diversionary conversations were no funnier than some of similar bits films often put in themselves for light relief, such as Pegg's bones in the latest star treks. you only have 5 minutes, you can write better and with more purpose

Appreciate the effort you put into writing this response - there are some things we'd change which you mentioned, we had just under 9 days to make this (from the initial "Make a mission impossible parody" to finishing the video and all in the middle) so idea world we would of tightened certain aspects up. The ending was meant to be different originally too which would of changed the pace of some of the middle stuff (more serious tone until the final pay off which was a different joke) but producer input meant we couldn't go with it.
Thanks once again - all noted and appreciated.

2 and a half days of actual filming.
The Aircraft hanger & office stuff was all shot in 12 hours on one day, the plane jump and all of Benny's on a 2nd. The Rooftop & maintenance area all shot in LA by our friends at the same time.
Food budget was the cost of Pizza for everyone - the whole team just wanted to get it made :)

But where is the fat person struggling to stay in a super hero costume?
