Nintendo's social networking app "miitomo"
I have been using it for a while now, and am yet to "miit" an eponymous "omo", so I thought I would invite you lot along.

What's the deal with this?
Is it just dressing up and answering questions? Is the bulk of the appeal in having other friends use it too?

I am always trying to figure out if something is me a dad, or me Gaijintendo
Ello ended up being me personally, because that's how all my friends played it, and I find me boring, so that withered quickly. Miitomo is a bit more me as in the guy who has been on b3ta for a decade, even though I know 3 other friends in secular life, one from Twitter and one from being desperately wanting more than 4 friends.
The dressing up is fine, and the questions are weirdly personal at times, but quite revealing. I follow one person who runs the surreal route, and it's just a joy. I feel like I know my friends better than I ever manage to via Facebook. I also have discovered a way to wear fishnet tights and bras, and nobody seems to notice.

I don't really see the point in that.
Perhaps children would like it?

Ugh
My 2 year old likes the dressing up bit, and the pachinko stuff. There are a lot of "which celebrity" type questions, that are probably more interesting if popular culture applies to you.
