He certainly took note
when the biggest demonstration ever in the U.K. took place against his proposed invasion of Iraq. That was based on a lie, but no matter, because he genuinely believed it was the right thing to do.

Was thinking the same thing.
All over the country irony meters are exploding.

I hate the fact that he's right
I always hope to be on the opposite side of an issue from Tony Blair.

You can still avoid being on the same side as the butcher of Baghdad.
You know it makes sense.

Blair thinks
of the British people as forlorn, shivering masses, hungering for his triumphant messianic return.
That is where he makes his error because what the British people have actually been thinking is, "thank fuck that massive twat Blair's not here any more to make ludicrous presumptions on our behalf, the frightful fucking perisher".

The vanity really is on a par with Trump.
However I reluctantly concede he's more articulate and intelligent, but just as crazy.

Well he had help from his mate campbell for a long time.
And so far trump has yet to murder over 200,000 people in the middle east and somehow keep a clean conscience. Give him time though.

Is there something about the timing of this speech?
Just had a labour mp on the radio dropping hints that his timing was interesting but wouldnt go into details.

this is a bit like Fred West telling you that your house is on fire
Do you call the fire brigade and check your wife and kids are ok or do you do nothing because he murdered a dozen women in the Gloucester area in the 1970s?

It's a bit like when you have a discussion with someone on the internet about brexit and they keep throwing farage in your face.

Right. That's it. I've had enough.
I was a fervent remain supporter, but we lost. I felt it was the wrong decision, but IT WAS THE DECISION!
When the Eurocrats started talking about being at the back of the queue for trade deals, punishing us with 90 billion Euro demands for 'promised payments' and generally being bastards about it, I felt myself getting more and more towards the view "You know what, fuck off; we're out of here"
Now Cunty McCuntface has weighed in, it's pushed me even further to the Brexit view.
TL:DR Blair has turned me into Prufrock!
