This is a link post When crew capsules go Bang!
An off nominal event happened during testing of the SpaceX Dragon capsule yesterday.
This is the one that went up, docked/undocked with the ISS before re-entering and being recovered a few weeks back.
This was a static fire test to ensure that it could safely be re-used, an essential step if you are going to put people in them.
A team of experts are currently reviewing the data and will reveal their conclusions shortly, so please, no premature speculation on the tests success.
I've also found my new text notification sound.

This is a normal post An 'off nominal event', nice. I also saw it described as an 'anomaly which exploded'.
I once had a 'below optimal response' to a suspicious fart and ended up following through.

This is a normal post One would expect that they’d thoroughly inspect for seawater damage before firing.
