That's just plain cut editing.
Shot 1. Make horsey fall over.
Shot 2. Drag fake horsey along ground
Shot 3. Horsey runs away.

Edit it up in a Tollywood studio. Add another 3 hours of singing and dancing. Presto a Tollywood masterpiece!
