This is a question Abusing freebies

A friend of mine recently attended a 'Champaign Lunch', where he was compelled drink as much fizzy stuff as he could between the first and last courses. In an ideal world we'd ask restaurant staff to tell us stories about fatties stuffing themselves at All You Can Eat places, but we recognise that our members don't all work in the catering trade, so for the rest of you - tell us something about abusing freebies. BTW: Bee puns = you fail.

(psst..)
get 40,000 peoples' mobile numbers by sticking a message on the football pitch score board half an hour before kick off. Asking people to send messages to loved ones in the crowd (send the good ones to the score board). Hey presto you've got a targeted list of people all interested in football. After the match (around pub closing time) TXT them all back with a URL on the home team website with a chance to win a signed ball (you bought at a charity auction for £200). Then you have their email addresses as well (as an opt in).

Sell the list (for more than £200) or use it to sell them things with high margins.

(don't tell anyone will you)
