..combining wikipedia and erowid "research" it looks like there've been three deaths this year linked to the stuff. If that's true then it is substantially more dangerous than exstacy, given its much lower profile; granted E isn't very dangerous at all (in the short term), unless you jump through a shop window while on it like a mate did.

the shit pills are the ones that make the good pills better, after all the taking of these types of drugs is something that should provide an elevated experience. surely if you take the same thing over and over the experience is lessened and as such the reasons for taking those substances are lessoned also. There is nothing quite like taking a pill, deciding after a while it is crap then banging another before 30 mins later losing control of your eye movement and jaw function and enjoying the spine tingling rushes that have come as a surprise - it made sense in my head at least
