Accidental animal cruelty
I once invented a brilliant game - I'd sit at the top of the stairs and throw cat biscuits to the bottom. My cat would eat them, then I'd shake the box, and he would run up the stairs for more biscuits. Then - of course - I'd throw a biscuit back down to the bottom. I kept this going for about half an hour, amused at my little game, and all was fine until the cat vomited. I felt absolutely dreadful.
Have you accidentally been cruel to an animal?
This question has been revived from way, way, way back on the b3ta messageboard when it was all fields round here.

Does anyone know...
In which book the author claims to have thrown a kitten/puppy from a ferry into the sea, just "to see what happened"? Only for them to feel guilty about it for the rest of their life...
Or am I imagining this?!

I always thought that "Mr Nice" was a euphemism for "Mr Indescribably Boring" - but it turns out that it's actually a euphemism for "Mr Indescribably Boring Cunt".

@chenobble
Admittedly not... but I have heard him droning on the radio a few times. It's quite possibly his speaking voice rather than his narrative voice that irks me.
And he's still a cunt for throwing a cat into the sea.

It's bloody good, his 'Book of dope stories' was also enjoyable but didn't enjoy the latest one. Can't remember the name but it's about the Welsh-South American link and his family...
