Well, that was the problemIt was adapted from a fantastic novella about a man who gradually goes a bit mental after having to kill his wife and child and is continually tormeneted by the vampires which constantly try to break into his house at night, and it has a very depressing ending. Instead they went all holywood and refused to call them vampires, what the heck is a "dark seeker"? and the ending was made all shcmaltzy and totally changed the point of the original.

sorry about that, I was REALLY disappointed as I loved the book
