This is a question Annoying Partners

As a recent divorcee, it would be churlish to reveal what annoys me the most about my ex, apart from that unfortunate business with the crinkle-cut beetroot which tipped us over the edge. So, what winds you up about your significant other? If you have no partner, tell us about workmates. If you have no workmates, improvise with an annoying tramp

Technophobe
When ever Mrs Duck is doing anything with the Sky+ remote my hands twitch in frustration and her total ineptitude at getting anything done without massive detours into the wrong menus and pressing the wrong buttons and generally taking 20 times longer than a gibbon with cerebral palsy would take

In fact the same is true of any technology I absolutely have to be 'in the driving seat' if we are looking at stuff on the laptop at home together.

I bet you use the guide rather than just scrolling though
I'm a scroller, my girlfriend hates it.

I'm a scroller
I can keep hold of the button so it flicks through really fast, and still see something I want to watch
(, Thu 4 Aug 2011, 20:48, closed)
Yes, it's faster and you get a 1 second preview of what you could be watching

I get frustrated with this on anything technological
the Wii, the computer, the cable menu. It's not just my mrs either.

It's not just a different way of doing things, it's a complete inability to learn.

Im with you on this one.
Sky+, When we go anywhere that requires the use of Satnav, internet use, even the bloody microwave.

We even have the same smartphones, but she set hers up completly wrong and all the icons are on the wrong screens. Im mean, who would not put text messageing next to e-mails, internet access and sky news apps?

Im starting to think i might be a bit irrational though!

get ride of the shite TV
fixed.

Fixed? are you absolutely sure?
bad spelling aside.

There are about 200 chanels of shit however there are lots of good. Sky Atlantic for one is excellent showing all the good HBO stuff.

All in lovely HD and the series link button for forgetful twats like yours truly is worth the sub alone.

I'm loving...
The repeats of ER on Atlantic. However their recent breaking the series link when the season changed resulted in the 'box set' purchase in iTunes...
