Annoying Partners
As a recent divorcee, it would be churlish to reveal what annoys me the most about my ex, apart from that unfortunate business with the crinkle-cut beetroot which tipped us over the edge. So, what winds you up about your significant other? If you have no partner, tell us about workmates. If you have no workmates, improvise with an annoying tramp

You're fooling yourself if you believe that smoking is one of life's pleasures.
I get it, I know that having that first cigarette of the day, or the one after a meal, or the one after sex, feels pleasurable. It's not really, though. It's just getting you back to the state the rest of us are in all the time.
Smoking = your mind fucking with you, not pleasure.

Fuck me
I'm tempted to start smoking again if it will prevent me becoming this hectoring.

Thanks, AV.
I really needed that laugh. That ironic pot, kettle thing is hilarious.

I have to agree with this.
I used to smoke because I got a buzz, then I smoked because it was something to do, then I realised I smoked because I was craving it. After giving up I've not missed it.
That said, I do li,e the taste of a cigar every now and again, and I have no problem with people smoking around me.
If you want to smoke, do it, but don't pretend for a second it really makes you feel better or that feeling like you need a cig every few hours means you're experiencing some kind of pleasure that non-smokers don't.
