Trudat!Yeah heard that one, "you'll get body armour in theatre" or " those repairs to (showers, floors, wash house) will be completed by the time you get back from Ops!" or the classic "you don't need that much ammo, the government has decided the fighting is over" really? Have they visited planet earth lately???

A friend of mine was joining the armywe decided it would be easiest just just go on eBay and buy him his body armour rather than waiting for HM to provide anything decent.
