I once put what I thought was a square of cheese in my mouth which turned out to be butter.
It was at a really nice restaurant in Paris and I didn't want to spit at the table so made my way to the bog. That was quite unpleasant.

Best thing I've eaten would either be Vietnamese fresh rolls with prawn, or a steak I had at an Argentinian place in East London. Fucking lush.

Vietnamese fresh rolls are great, dunno why no Vietnamese restaurant I go to seems to do them.

There's a large Vietnamese community where I live
and therefore loads of great food. I'm spoiled.

Gaucho?
If so, you're right, they do a bloody good steak. Ate in one last week. 400g ribeye. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

No, this was Buen Ayre in Broadway market
Isn't Gaucho very pricey?

Very pricey
But very good. It's about £25 for the steak if you get a decent size, and everything (chips, veg, etc.) is extra. It is genuinely the best steak I've ever had though.

Hadn't heard of Buen Ayre. Just been looking at the website and it does look great, though.

Just had a quick look
It's a while since I was there but the prices have shot up.
The price of success.
