Halva is generally minced sesame seeds and honey. I prefer the vanilla one, but I've also found a very nice chocolate version. :)

It kind of tasted like it, and wasn't all that bad, but nothing comapred to the stuff from Bradford market I ate in my youth.

out of tahini and honey, just spread the tahini and dribble the honey on top. Utterly gorgeous on buttered white crusty bread.
Actual halva is much the same, mixed better and baked. All these nutty and chocolate additives are unnecessary distractions in my book - it's superb just as it is.
