Redundant technology
Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?
Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

Dungeon Master games are great
i did become annoyed with the salamander levels though
The only game i have found that replicates anywhere near them are the overlord series and i recently found a link to this game
www.strategyinformer.com/pc/dungeons/movie/37055.html
it excited me all over again

That game had some great (semi-hidden) sound clips:
Pause the game for ~20m:
"The very rock yawns in anticipation of your next fascinating move"
Play past midnight, 1am, 2am (etc) got you a little nagging:
"Surely even dungeon keepers must retire to a lair of some description?"
"You know that low, broad, downy-soft item of furniture in the next room? It has the power to cure fatigue and restore vitality"
"Hello? Are you still there? The Imps are about to lock up."
"Your nocturnal perseverance has earned you a hidden gaming tip: Go to bed!"
Edit: And then there's general silliness:
"A lost soul has entered your dungeon. Oh – no, it’s wandered out again"
"Your dungeon floor is lumpy. Order your minions to jump up and down"
"Hungry Demons cannot reach their toes"
"Your dungeon is on an incline. Angry creatures cannot play marbles"
"Your dungeon is full of yoghurt"
"Micro-piglets stalk your dungeon. Beware!"
"Your dungeon is damp. Install central heating"
"Your minions demand cable"
"One of your imps does a great impression of you. He can even do the ears"

Creatures are deserting!
Dungeon Keeper was vastly superior to the sequel and it's horrid 3D graphics.
