This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

Atari 2600
I purchased one a month ago. (Original Wood one too).
It sits pride of place between the Wii and the Xbox360.

It brought a tear to my eye when my kids requested to play the "Tank Game" (Combat) rather than Lego Batman on the Wii.

A nice break
It was a well received break from the normal stuff they play, get stuck and expect me to solve.

Right with you there! I have my original black one still in box (cained to death when we were kids so it's a bit temperamental now), a woodie we purchased 2nd hand as a replacement (in box), and one of those new 'modern' slim silver and black ones. Sadly all my games are in a lock up a couple of miles away :-(

I picked up a boxed Atari 7800 from the tip of all places a few years back ... and some games from a boot sale the same year! Result!

I sold mine
ebayed in 2004 for quite a nice sum (before everyone else went and rummaged in their parents lofts I think).
I do however keep an emulator on every pc/mac I use with a selection of my fav games and make a point of passing it on to anyone who enquires.

I feel a quick game of Adventure coming on (Space invaders and Asteroids are too noisy for work)
