IgnoranceI once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

I was talkingTo an American online who honestly thought that we don't hold elections in the UK because the queen rules us all. The same gentleman also fervently believed that only Americans fought against Germany and Japan during world war 2.

I met a member of the US NavyWho believed that WW2 started when Pearl Harbour was bombed... Apparently it was improper to describe it as a "World" war prior to that because the USA hadn't joined in.
