When buying a house number for the front door we couldn't find any 9s
so instead we bought a 6 and put it on upside down!

There is pretty much no radio sitcom that doesn't have Barry Cryer in it.

I flipped the '6' in our address to form a '9' when I was a kid.
We didn't get any post for a couple of days*, until I fessed up and was bollocked.

*I suspect this to be a lie told by my mum to get me to own up.

Were you the previous owner of my house?
I live at Number 15. They used an I for the 1 on the original front door, then built a porch and put the 1 on it upside down.
