Body Horror
Mictoboy writes, "I once picked a spot on my cheek only for a half-inch long ingrown hair to coil out covered in pus."
How has your own body made you recoil in disgust?

When getting laser eye surgery you can smell your own eyeballs burning
It's a fairly revolting smell. It reminded me of overgrilled octopus. It's the kind of smell you only really want to smell once.

Burning pubes smell like scorched popcorn,
I observed as the doctor was burning a hole in my nutsack.

I clipped mine down to stubble,
as I didn't fancy using a razor down there.

Oh fantastic.
Im on a waiting list for minor eye surgery, I had the whole procedure explained to me to put my mind to rest.
Not once did they mention a burning smell, sly buggers.

The procedure itself isn't that bad
It is deeply weird, but it's certainly not painful or anything

She did say it wasnt painful and that you only felt a little pressure like someone gently tapping on your eyeball.

It was the noise
It was the noise that was the worst for me. It was enough to make me try to jump back which was why a nurse was stood behind me when it happened.

I had mine done about 15 years ago, when it took a long time to heal...
After the anaesthetic droplets wore off, it hurt like fuck, so I was given several painkillers with strength ranging from MASSIVE to mild to take over time as the pain got less severe.
Because I couldn't see, it was the responsibility of my g/f of the time to give me said drugs, and the stupid cow got them in the wrong order, giving me the mildest ones first. Ow.
I understand laser eye surgery is quite a simple and pain-free process nowadays.

I went by tube
but I went with my girlfriend who'd had the procedure herself six months previously, and after I guided her home with her eyes closed that time she did the same for me
