the correct response to"We can’t afford to pay you overtime on this occasion, but next time…"
is of course "See you next time then". I used to have loyalty and do favours for companies but not anymore. Too many vague promises not fulfilled in the past. Its the same reason i arrive at 9 and leave at 5.30.
