Can we have something that tells us when someone responds to one of our posts?
I hate to say it, but similar to Facebook - Either an email or a gaz telling us that someone's commented on a post we've made, or replied to a reply that we've done.

Might be too much bandwidth
If you have a particular thread you want to come back to just bookmark it to a B3ta folder and check them later on. I don't think there's as much spaz posting as there once was. If there are a few posts bookmark the archive page.
Some people post tons of messages and get tons of responses.

You can use the b3ta search to see how many replies each of your posts/replies has received
but it takes a while (a day or two?) to update its indexes, it's not real-time. Also, some links are b0rked so you have to edit the URL with the relevant question title in the case of QotW answers.

I don't post that frequently, so it suits me. Maybe not if you post a lot though.

it would be a good idea
my friend started posting on talk and i had to tell her people had replied to her, she got used to the pace eventually though
