Is there a way I could get my original board name/id back?
Years ago (6? 7?)I was a noobie rupert123, but moved jobs and email, then forgot my password. Or vice versa. Helps?

I'm afraid that there is no user called "rupert123" (or similar).

If you gaz me your old email address, maybe that will help me track it down.

Incidentally, there's a bug/error I get when replying to these messages
I get a b3ta 404 after being sent to this url www.b3ta.com/questions/post643134/ I'm using Firefox but I don't think that's important. It just seems like the url is missing the bugs_and_feature_requests/ part.

Despite the 404 the messages are posted okay.

Are you sure you didn't change your name to something else? Have you tried changing your name now to 'rupert123'? Since nobody is using it you probably can just do that.

Strangely enough,
one of the last posts Rupertnnn made was to Little Bear, whose daughter had just been born.
I have a mundane reason for remembering that.

I just wanted my old board number, which had a certain snobbish value.

They only seem to have posted a handful of qotw answers, did you reply to one of those? I remember thebear had a baby www.b3ta.com/board/854882 - this is it's first post. But it wasn't a girl. Actually he's 7 years old (b3ta wise & really) in a few days.

If you remember what your ID number started with that would help too. Or if you remember other people you used to reply to often. Where did you post your messages? Board? Qotw? talk?

Definately not little bear no.26795. Little Bear was a Dad.
Could be Thebear: seems plausible he would change his board name if there was littler bear. And his baby could have been a son. He posted pics on the board (B3ta was gentler then!) which I replied to - I was thinking of my daughter I suppose.
My ID no. was not that special. I have the dimmest memory it may have been 14nnn. Or was it a 7,000 no? Point is - it was old.
The Great Architect is another boarder I recall. The whole Badger thing was new-ish. In fact Little Bear posted a pub sign, he was a Badger's beer fan I think.
They posted great pics and I admired them. C'est tout.
You are probably wondering how to help someone who can't help themself. Or possibly why to help. But thanks again for what you have done.

thebear was the badger beer fan. I notice someone changed their username saying they were quitting their job, you must have changed yours or robtoo would have found it.

Great to see all those old names. Should find my old posts if I spazz about a bit.
I've never managed to work out how to move back through time on the boards. There must be an easy way to leap the years.
Robbo did say he thought I had changed my name - but my memory denies it. My memory is no friend.
