This is a question Bugs and feature requests

Found a problem on B3ta? Want other features that we don't currently offer? Type your ideas here with your finger-mouths. (We don't promise we'll act on any of it, but we will read it and your words could even prompt us into action.)

Sure, I can get that in no problem
My guess is that the thread originally looked likes this:
POST
|
+- REPLY 1
|
+- REPLY 1.1
|
+- REPLY 1.2

And then REPLY 1 got deleted.

Reply 1.1 and 1.2 still exist (so there are technically still two replies), but there's just no easy way to see them at the moment.

The same problem exists on the other boards. The correct fix is to probably stop post-deletion nuking entire subthreads.

An odd one we've noticed in offtopic
is that if the original poster goes back and edits their post after a bunch of replies are posted, the post count gets screwed. Example:
www.b3ta.com/questions/offtopic/post672589
listed in /questions/offtopic as having seven replies. Dunno if that's related.
This one too:
b3ta.com/questions/offtopic/post673884
Looks like it's only counting top-level posts after edits.

IMDB have a thing
that says "post deleted" in its place. That should be easy to implement. Rather than delete the post, just replace the text within the post and the username shown as something relevant.
