the new 'brake discs need doing' for me is 'handbrake pad siezed which neccessitates the whole rear caliper doing'I've been too lazy to check these things before I take it in for an MOT so I can't show pictures beforehand showing they don't need doing. All of a sudden it's not an £80 job, its a £480 job.

This really happened to a vehicle of mine......and it did burst into flames!! Opposite a Kwik-Fit. We had it recovered to a different garage...
