I work in IT...
...so when most people ask a question, 'basically' is almost always the way to go unless I want to see thier eyes glaze over in the first 8 seconds of me opening my mouth.
That said, sometimes I want them to not have a clue what I'm on about - doesn't make thier life any easier, but it does mine ;)
