This is true.I'm unlikely to proclaim "EPIC!" when I see them, though. My usual response is either to admire them quietly from across the room or, if the lady in question has gone to great lengths to make sure everyone else in the room knows she has a balcony made for Shakespare, to murmur "Very nice" and nod approvingly.
