I hate when people here use English words in their sentences

I have the same thing with people who use French words and phrases in English sentences,
in order to sound well-educated.

having just been on my hols to Egypt
to a hotel where the majority of the guests were either French or Italian, I was surprised how many "English" words were used in common conversation. I took this to mean that; either the word hadn't a French/Italian alternative or that it was just a bit of lazy shorthand.
