offshore IT firmsI think that's exactly the point - it's from someone for whom english is not their first language. I come across it a lot as well, and to be honest I don't worry about it given that it's not their native language.
Worse is Americans who are supposed to speak english and say 'Kindly do such and such'. I won't do anything kindly for someone who asks me like that.
