TraumaMy mum, a few years ago, began to pronounce it 'Tr-ow-ma'. I'm assuming she got it from watching all those hospital shows, or possibly from actually being in the hospital. Or it could be a cute little play on sounds: Trauma + ouch = trowma. I don't care where she got it from. It hurts my ears every time she says it.
