I do love to do this.
I used to work with two film critics, who would read their own prose to each other, snorting messily with laughter at their own jokes.
One morning I came in, and said "Oh - I saw Nikita last night."
"Oh - and what did you think?" one asked.
"Well - it was OK" I said, "it wasn't as good as The Assassin" I opined.
It were ace. Their head nearly actually came off.
