Yes and no...Lots of DJs use Ableton Live rather than Serato. There's a lot more to Ableton than just pressing start and stop and letting it beatmatch. Do you also disagree with DJs using CDJs?
And programming a set and responding to the crowd is just as, if not more, important as the physical aspect of DJing.
