Davros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

I've got it on good authority that you can use these things for DIY too...
Though whenever I'm dragged to B&Q I'm not allowed to go near them as I tend to put them to their primary use - pretending to be a stormtrooper fighting against Luke Skywalker on the Death Star (always more fun to be the baddies).

Somebody once told me you can use them to mastic tiles with.
What's the fun in that though?

Cordless drills
I prefer these, they give a satisfying whirr when used as a gun, makes me feel like Blaine from Predator, albeit with a slightly smaller mini gun.

Of course not
When I was building my kitchen I physically had to spend at least 30 minutes a day pursuing the cats around the house, busting caps in their asses. Only then could I begin actually doing something useful.

Shame they lack a flashing red LED for the proper laser blaster effect!

Why wait until you're alone
it's more fun to shoot at your friends with it and have them feign being shot.

big naughty gun
What are these things called, though? I want them to be called caulk guns, but only because that would be childishly amusing.
Edit: God bless the Internet. Hee hee hee:

It's A Man Thing...
I tend to do it with all my power tools.
My little B&D electric screwdriver is perfect as a laser gun :-D
I do have to restrain myself at theatre setbuilds tho. Especially after the odd looks...
