The most childish thing you've done as an adult
Davros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

Four steps to utter public childishness...
Follow these instructions:
1) Obtain oyster card and remove chip carefully.
2) Obtain 'harry potter wand' toy and dismantle carefully.
3) place oyster chip in wand and re-assemble (You may need an adult to help with the gluing).
4) use wand in place of oyster card at every opportunity.
Extra credit awarded for use of magic words, loudly, in public.

And I....
....justly, have stolen it back from them to return it to you, o interwebs, that it may sit where it rightfully belongeth.
Balance is restored. The quest is over. All is right with the world once again.
*collects flowers and other accolades. levels up.*

The original idea came from a website somewhere...
he used acetone to melt the card. I'd have used a sonic screwdriver (as the new device, not to extract the chip)
Link here

But seems like the new cards are made of different stuff, or the antenna specifically, making the process much more difficult.

ooh!
...now, bolting a chip into a replica sonic-screwdriver could be even better!
...or how about a 12" dildo?
Can we think of anything else this could be done with?

Yes if you have £3 to spare
I would say so
We can't and won't
Should be fine although the taste may leave a little bit to be desired
That is all
