Labour's core vote usually only take after their parents.
If I had a pound for every time I have heard an example of this I'd be able to bribe CCHQ to depose DC and replace him with a person of Conservative views.
There was some polling after the 2001 general elction that said the average IQ of each party's voters was...

Except the figures are provided with no sample size, no standard deviations, or indeed any kind of significance testing, so as they are they're meaningless.
