Friends (the tv show)
what is the fascination with this show? seriously... its not funny.
its not quirky... its not in any way entertaining!... its just plain bland.
the canned laughter just shows how unfunny it is.
it's as though it actually has to has to point out that "HEY! HEY YOU OUT THERE!! THIS IS THE BIT WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LAUGH!!"

agreed
it's just 4 (or is it 5? or 6? i dunno) people who come out with lame "wisecracks" for episode after episode. they don't seem to have any individual personality traits (apart from useless catchphrases) to differentiate between themselves.

Fucking loathe this programme.
Smarmy, perfect teeth/hair/homes, sit around making "witty" comments, drinking their fucking brews. I blame these cunts for expensive coffee bars in the UK, 2 quid for a skinny fucking latte goats bollocks. It seems to be constantly on the E freeview channels. Ewwwwwww.

Apart from the bits filmed outside, Friends was in front of a studio audience, I always thought the laughter is one of the better examples on friends. If you want to see a really bad example of canned laughter, watch How I Met Your Mother.
