My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

My g/f and her family
refer to the living room as a drawing room and i cant fucking stand it!
So I constantly call it living room, saying it loudly so all can hear! this annoys them.
