My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

LOLUsing 'lol' as punctuation, and sticking it randomly at the end of sentences that aren't even funny. Makes me want to track down the culprit and beat them round the head with their keyboard... lol.
