Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

I mean the sort who wear them because it makes them look more "mysterious" or "mystical." Though even if they really were religious, if the jewelry was huge, it would be an eyesore, no matter what religion they were.
I know my wording doesn't make any sense, but I can't be arsed to try to make any more sense.

Its very hard to get anything related to Wicca or Paganism that doesn't feel tacky, or gimmicky because of all the idiots who buy/wear such stuff in order to be mysterious and mystical, as you said.
