This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

smashing your own window in full view of the neighbours while threatening to burn your own house down with your spouse inside.
then walking around the block, knocking on someones door and saying:
"excuse me love, i think someones broken my window, did you see anyone about?"

i love my neighbours.
they mean i don't have to buy a tv.

can three people be that stupid.. yes it would appear they can
my neighbour did that too..
but smashed the window infront of police men... then rang the police to say we had done it...

they went to prison for threatning to kill us eventually... when the police came to take Mr-Crazy-Neighbour away... Mrs crazy neighbour shouted "don't worry love, i'll brick their windows"
so they took her away too..

Shaftesbury Avenue!
But the chippy in portswood is second to none. I'd say that makes up for everything
