Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

Had pint jars of curry cook-in sauce for three pence a few months ago, I now lose all apetite just by looking at one of the jars I have left - not because it's bad but on account of how I ate rather a lot of it.

Keep them. Persevere.
You'll get the taste back, sooner or later.

Yup, a noodle/curry party
so bring some Asda cola.
That cheese naan really is delicious. Last year I had a job* where I was given hundreds of free cans of Branston baked beans, and we had beans on toasted cheese naan every night for weeks. Marvelous.
*Ironically, at a gym
