Story from Scottish Malt Whisky Club (sunny Perth, Australia branch)Not a rich member had a collection built over many years to sample from occasionally.
He has the peaty ones, the island specials, the ones from distillaries now closed forever..
One winters' night, a friend comes over, mentions that he's a whisky fan.
So the member generously opens the cupboard of delights - to find just one bottle. Surprised, he calls to his wife and asks if she's moved his whisky collection. The response:
"Oh, they were all nearly empty, so I put them into one bottle.."

But given how much these cost, he may have kept it quiet from the missus.
