Absolutely!No need to lie about birthdays though. Anyone who wanted could visit the cockpit after the flight. I did, I got my picture taken and had a nice chat with the crew as well. At the time I was learning to fly too, it was an even better experience for knowing what (a few) of the knobs and levers actually did.
