This is a question Controversial Beliefs

Some mugs still think the MMR injection gives children autism (it doesn't), while others are of the belief that we're ruled by billionaire lizard people. Tell us about views outside the mainstream which people go glassy eyed if you bang on about them (Your grandad's a racist - no need to tell us, thanks)

The Moon Landing
We in-fact, DID land on the moon. Sadly lots of people I know, don't believe me, even though, you can see the fucking lander base up there, the rovers, and the frigging footprints.

Cheers Capricorn One! Cheers.

An ex-colleague of mine still claims it didn't happen.
His argument is: "The height of technical advances in 1969 was the Ford Anglia".
So yeah, the fact that mankind went from the first powered flight to the first supersonic flights in less than 50 years counts for nothing to these people.
Oh, and did I mention that he was a scientist too?

response to moon landing disbelievers
the ability to fake the footage didnt exist.

Most moonlander deniers wouldn't believe the evidence if you flew them to the moon and banged their head repeatedly on the side of the Eagle's descent stage.

It's more fun to point out that not only would the Russians have to be in on it, despite being sworn enemies of the US who would have leapt at the chance to discredit them, but so would all the amateur astronomers who tracked the spacecraft, monitored the transmissions and received and decoded the images.

Basically, the conspiracy would probably have to have included more people in it than it was trying to fool - and would probably have been more difficult than just going there in the first place!
