Corruption
I once had to grease a custom official's palm to get out of a foreign country, a wad of bank notes worth about 45p which went straight into his pocket. In fact, everybody on our flight had to, the thieving scrote. Talk to us about corrupt officials, or confess your own wrongdoing. We won't tell anyone.
Thanks to Ye of Little Faith for the suggestion

If the desire is to be accepted then this makes more sense than
accusing all doubters of having a phobia.

It's deliberate 'misunderstanding' like this that exacerbates the problem
and indeed most problems.

the 'desire' is to be treated like human beings without having to hide or deny an important part of who you are
which strikes me as an entirely reasonable thing to expect
if somebody 'doubts' that other people deserve that common decency then they can fuck off to north Korea or Saudi Arabia

Still not an excuse to go out in public, wearing leather chaps, and letting your arse hang out.
Being lewd in public is vulgar, irrespective of sexual orientation.

If I had my way, rowdy stag dos would go, too,
and then who would gay men have to sausage?

Sorry, I don't "get" what you're implying here
Could you elaborate, please?

I agree with the first part as it's what I believe as well.
However you're not going to send every doubter to those places. What with whole nations condemning homosexuality there wouldn't be enough room. There was a time in England when it took extreme protest to get heard but I believe that time has passed and the over explicit sexual type of protest will only alienate the "recently allied". Best chance we've got of "converting" the next tranche of people is to drop the aggression and try friendliness. After all how would you expect anyone to be friendly to you while at the same time you're calling them cunts? Peace brother.
