Hand drier lulz
Playing some Christmas function at the Palace Hotel in Manchester.
Need a wazz before soundcheck
Go to the toilets at the back of the venue,
Loads of fantastic green marble urinals with art deco furnishings,
During wazz gets very cold then all the hand driers at the other end of the room go off,
Hastily finished mid wazz then ran out adjusting myself causing slight map of the world,
Used driers in others toilets to rid map of the world & guitar slightly lower on stage.
Lovely building though.

Some of those driers
are activated by infrared when you put your hands under them (similar to "motion" detectors in burglar alarms) . So most likely it was just the cold draught setting them off.
