Creepy!
Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

There's a small geological fault running through Keele,
which is close to where I grew up. Occasionally, it shifts and settles a bit. Once, I was woken by a small tremor.
"Oh, it's an earthquake", said to myself, as I rolled over and went back to sleep. Three hours later, I woke with a start. "What? An earthquake?!"

Exactly.
It seems no more likely than being eaten by a shark in Derby.

I was a bit annoyed that I'd not been more awake and able to enjoy the experience.
When you're as boring and ugly as I am, you get few enough earth-moving experiences in bed as it is.

I was up drinking beer with my mate
It started as wardrobes banging and I thought the kids were fighting. Then it sounded like something heavy slid down the outside of the house, (end terrace), heavy like a tree trunk. Then the floor vibrated quite hard for a few seconds.
