My Dad, the role model...He never played things on the straight and narrow and this pretty much sums him up. He was storing some money from an ‘acquaintances’ bank job in the goat shed whilst things ‘cooled down’ but my dad could never keep money around for long without spending it so little by little, he’d dip into this seemingly bottomless pile of cash. One day, the ‘acquaintances’ popped by to collect said cash…
‘Ere, you got that cash handy?
‘No.’
‘Wot?’
And with a chuckle, my Dad replied ‘I spent it, what are you gonna do, go to the cops?’

That's the odd thing...I never really understood how he got away without having all fifteen flavours of shit punched out of him, he just had a way about him that inspired respect, he had an easy smile but could also apparently be a vicious bastard. ;-)

Yep, goat shed!We lived in Hove and had a goat shed up the top of the garden, we also had chickens, ducks, a bastard of a turkey and at one point three cows...
The goats were very useful when a copper turned up with an arrest warrant, the copper was sent up the shed where my dad was, and held out the warrant which was promptly snatched out of his hand and eaten. (By the goat, not my Dad) ;-)
